We are not quite sure we are ready for the emotional rollercoaster that a weekly viewing of Skins provides. Season 4 starts tomorrow night on E4 and we can’t wait to catch up with Pandora, JJ, Thomas, Freddie, Cook, Katie, Emily and our favourite style crush Effy. We really hope things work out between Emily and Naomi, would love to see Katies character develop more and could do without quite so many love triangles in this series (if you are listening, Skins writers?)
New characters include, Georgia Henshaw (remember her from Angus, Things and Perfect Snogging?) as Lara, who plays JJ’s girlfriend and Ben Evans as Sam, who is best known as Charley in the BBC sitcom High Hopes.
That’s Thursday night sorted for the next 8 weeks then!

We have a little bit of a girly crush on Effie from Skins, otherwise known as Kaya Scodelario. Effy is the only charcacter to appear in all three of the series and is currently in the middle of filming the fourth.
Effy has developed from silent little girl into a femme fetale involved in a love triangle between JJ and Freddie. At only 16, we think Kaya has a long and successful acting career in front of her and is also developing into something of a style icon. We don't think it will be long before we see her as the face of a teen brands ad campaign.
Apparantly plans are afoot to turn Skins into a major online brand that will include, TV, film, music and fashion. The fourth series will be broadcast in 2010 and a movie, novel and US version is also in the works.
