Cowboy Crinoline

We love to plan our wardrobes and work out what  we will be wearing in the future, especially when we see a trend that means we can incorporate some of our old favourites into it.

Cowboy Crinoline is one of the key looks for Spring Summer 2010, and not only does it look really pretty and super stylish, it also allows us to add in some of our old favourite vintage and denim pieces. A mixture of  pretty ditzy florals, gingham and madras checks, ruffles, bows, washed denim and chambray, we adore the pretty, pastel, feminine frills contrasted with the more edgy denim.

Detail Spring Summer 2010

Here’s our second sneaky peak at what’s to come for next Spring summer, and this time it’s all about the detail. Shoulders and necklines are embellished, embroidered and covered in sequins, pearls and beads, with Idol adopting a more edgy look using holes and a new take on the safety pin fastening.

Who needs jewellery when you can have all the glamour you need right there on your top!

Cupcake S/S 2010

Here’s the first of our favourite new looks (get it?) for Spring Summer 2010. A gorgeous combination of fun and sophistication, we adore this super cute trend. Mix soft pastel pink and grey with stark black and white, throw in fun polka dots and cartoon cat prints, and finish off with statement bows, for a new take on smart dressing.
We can’t wait!

Carey Mulligan

An Education, has to be one of our favourite films of 2009. A must see girly film, it’s out on DVD next March. The relatively unknown Carey Mulligan plays 16 year old schoolgirl Jenny, who falls for 30 something David. He exposes her to a glamorous world away from the confines of her suburban home and ultra conservative parents. Jenny grows into a sophisticated women of the world, who questions who she is, and what she wants from life. Set in the early 1960′s, Carey’s charm, elegant style and gamine looks have seen critics compare her to Audrey Hepburn, and she is set to be nominated for a best actress awards at the Oscars.

Currently filming a re-make of the Wall St the 1980′s blockbuster Wall StreetWall St 2: Money Never Sleeps, also stars Shia Le Beouff as Gordon Gecko and is out in April next year. We  think Carrie Mulligan is an actress to watch out for in 2010
