We are big Eastenders fans here at NL Towers and have been hooked on the ‘Who killed Archie?’ storyline, over Christmas. Who do you think did it?
The new Eastenders spin off E20 starts tomorrow and is online every night at 8.30 until February. Did you spot the characters being introduced on Tuesdays episode, very subtle!!

Teenagers Zsa Zsa Carter, Fatboy, Leon Small and Mercy Olubunmi come to the square to escape their families. The episodes have been written by 13 new London writers aged between 17 and 22 who attended a summer school where they created and wrote the online drama.

The programme makers also ran a competition to create the dramas theme tune, by pairing up with BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra and Asian Network to offer remixers, DJs and music fans a unique opportunity to become part of EastEnders history by remixing the iconic theme for E20.
BTW we are liking the look of Leon!!

COMPUTERS

Last night we went to a really interesting event hosted by Dell computers. They wanted to talk to fashion bloggers about the link between fashion and technology. They also let us have a sneaky peak at some of their new products and let us in on what they were thinking for the future. Most of all they wanted to know what we thought. Do women really want pink computers, do we care about memory size, how many gigs we have, do we even know what a Pentium Processor is? Or are we computer savvy and sick of technology companies talking down to us?

There were many varied opinions, but we all more or less agreed that if you were buying from an established brand, the technology side of things is more or less a given, what makes a product stand out for us is definitely the way it looks. Some of us want sleek and simple, others want the ability to customize and create their own design and some want fashion and fun. We love the idea of being able to create our own design and add the technology as we need it. Imagine how much fun it would be and the amazing looks we could create.

One of the conclusions we came to was that when it comes to shopping for technology, we don't have the same retail experience as we do when shopping for clothes. We want our technology purchases, where we are often spending much more money than we do on fashion, to feel as special as our fashion purchases. Ok, we don't want them gift wrapped in tissue, but we do at least want someone to help us out when making our choice, offer us some advice and find us a product that suits our technical needs and fits in with our style.

We'd love to know what you think. What do you look for when buying a computer?

Check out the super cute laptop skins/covers in the picture from Skyn, and the fab coloured laptops from Dell.
