Idol‘s seventh collection references the medieval period, with chainmail detailing and tunic silhouettes. Entitled ‘Armour’ the collection takes a definitively tough stance, with a romantic thread running through the looks. We’re totally in love with the black shearling jacket, so luxe and stylish and the studded leather-look dress has to be seen to be believed, definitely one to make your mark this party season!
Over-the-knee boots and hooded dresses add to the historical mood, but simple jersey pieces update the look and give a more modern feel.
Idol’s ‘Armour’ hits the stores on the 2nd November, so sharpen your elbows and prepare for combat!

Idol’s latest collection has just hit the stores and it’s already earning a place in our hearts, and wardrobes! This collection comes with a heavy dose of bohemian luxe, think sumptuous velvets, shimmering sequins and delicate feather motifs. There’s still some tough stuff to satiate your inner rock chick, with grungy boots and gothic printed tees.

The gorgeous Cheryl Cole was spotted out and about in LA this week looking fabulously stylish. Doesn’t it just make you long for some sunny weather?

We love the Idol range and are rocking the sequin look for day and and night at the moment. Dressed up with a pair of our highest heels or dressed down with jeans and high tops, we just can’t get enough glitter and shine.
It seems we are not the only ones, as we have recently spotted Lisa Snowden, Jamie Winstone, Shingai Shoniwa, Liz McClarnon and Beyonce (Beyonce, hello, how awesome is that?) all looking truly amazing wearing Idol.

And could be as cool as the kids in the Lust for Life video, from San Francisco based band Girls. The band have just released their first album and are one of the growing number of West Coast groups who play laid back, surfy, sun drenched rock.
As the nights draw in and we prepare to wrap up for winter we are dreaming of a West coast surfing look and are already nostalgic for summer. Oh well, maybe we'll just have to make do with wearing sun bleached pastels and faded denim, for now!

Last night fashion journalists from all our favourite mags turned up to down cocktails and dinner at Automat (one of our favourite London Restaurants) and view the new Idol collection. With an acoustic set from VV Brown and Daisy Lowe DJing, a great time was had by all. We spotted Sarah Harding with her new best friend Marvin from JLS and Pixie Geldof and Alice Dellal throwing some shapes on the dance floor.

We have had a sneaky peak at the Idol range, due in store soon and we can confirm that it is truly fabulous. We are so glad that this season it’s completely acceptable to wear sequins and studs to the office, as we simply wont be able to wait for a night out to wear this amazing range!

We are a little over excited about the imminent arrival of The Idol range. In store on the 24th of September, the IDol range combines high end fashion styling, quality and a lot of attitude. A must have range for all rock chicks out there.
