Check out the behind-the-scenes look at our Press Day featuring voxpops from bloggers, fashion journalists and the NL team. It’s a great way to get up to speed on the trends for this season.

Fashion blogger Lily Melrose was picked to be our guest presenter for London Fashion Week, we sent her to the Giles show at the impressive Royal Courts of Justice in London to cover all the action backstage. Watch out for the video coming very soon.

Before preparations for the show got underway we let her loose in our Oxford Street store and this is what she picked. Doesn’t she look great? Scroll down to get Lily’s style!

It’s not just the catwalks though, the front row is as much of an event as the show itself! Our pick of the front row from this season is below, we love Diana Vickers simple but stylish cardigan dress, glammed up with heels. The next look is classic Alexa, check out her diminutive bag, a microtrend for Spring.

Ex-Sugababe Keisha Buchanan rocks a gorgeous mix of corals and nude tones, the red lippie really finishes it off. Lastly Nicola Roberts does A-list chic in a bodycon dress, heels and sunnies. Love her new ombré hair!

LOOK’s Deputy Fashion Editor Jodie Nellist came into our press showroom to pick our some of her favourite pieces for the catwalk event. She swooped straight for the pink and orange tunic dress saying “I love the pink dress, colour blocking is key for S/S ’11 and I’d definitely wear this.” Seems like we might be seeing this frock on the LOOK show catwalk tomorrow!

When faced with some technical hitches, a friendly chap called Basil came to save the day which just seemed to bring the crowd together even more! Standout support came from Jonny Sweet, definitely one to watch.

Feature Spot put on some of our favourite comedians around the big smoke, including Russell Howard, Mark Watson and Tim Minchin. For more info on venues visit the Feature Spot website for listings.

The LOOK Show is back this February to kick off proceedings for London Fashion Week… and you could be there too!

The Golden Globes is the first big red-carpet event of the year, and it made headlines after a controversial performance from presenter Ricky Gervais, and a standing ovation for Michael Douglas, who recently beat cancer.

The real story for us is always going to be the dresses. The red-carpet was laden with celebs in their finery, but which one was your favourite? Was it Claire Danes’ coral pink sheath dress, or did you prefer January Jones’ daring red fringed frock? Maybe it was Scarlett Johansson’s romantic tulle dress that caught your attention?

Last week was a busy one for us at NL HQ, as it was Foundation Week: seven days of fundraising for our chosen charities. The office was a flurry of activity as people tried their hardest to raise money for charities like Beat, Macmillan and Whizz Kidz. We had cake sales galore, a very scary looking skydive and even a sponsored 10 mile walk in heels… Ouch!
