New Look are teaming up with world-class institution London College of Fashion on an exciting footwear project which will see student-designed shoes available in our stores. We’re already big fans of this year’s BA fashion graduates, but this time round it’s all about the shoes.
A select panel of judges made up of fashion industry names including Giles Deacon, New Look Design Director Barbara Horspool, and footwear designer Jonathan Kelsey looked through the students’ designs. They picked finalists from the MA degree course, and the winning designs will be put into production next Spring. We can’t wait to get our greedy mitts on them!
LCF graduates include Jimmy Choo and LK Bennett so we’re really quite excited to see what this year’s students produce, below are some of the finalists’ designs to give you a flavour of what to expect, stay tuned to see who makes the final cut.

I LOVE the boots in the first photo! Amazing!!! I want a pair!!
Just blogged about this. I hope that
Chang Seok Ko’s ‘Splash’ design makes it!
Hello. I have always loved new look shoes, but these ones look fab…Cant wait to see the range! NL do organic cotton tops etc, but when are we gonna see fair trade shoes? The only thing that puts me off is I have no idea about the working conditions for the people that make these things of beauty! I would have even more of an excuse to buy more shoes if I’m supporting the workers & fair trade etc!!!!!!!
